Appointment of attorney dispute

In this matter, we successfully represented a daughter who was appointed as her father’s attorney in a disputed Lasting Power of Attorney matter before the Court of Protection. The client’s brother objected to her appointment as an attorney and there were complex issues regarding how the Lasting Power of Attorney had been drafted and conflicting mental capacity evidence. The court confirmed that the client’s father had the requisite mental capacity and that the client’s appointment as his attorney was valid.

One of the qualities I most value in Kiran is that she is always available to speak to and will sort out problems quickly and sensibly. I have no hesitation in recommending Kiran to other clients and professionals.
