I focus broadly on UK tax planning, and I have experience in succession and wealth planning for landed estates and individuals. Alongside the more traditional Wills and trusts advisory work, I am helping to develop our practice in alternative corporate structures for families and individuals.
I do some contentious work, having been seconded to the litigation department of Bird & Bird as part of my training contract. My contentious work involves hearings at the Tribunal for disputes with HMRC and in the Chancery Division for applications under the Variation of Trusts Act 1958. I also work with charities on their set up and the provision of ongoing legal and tax advice.
I read history at the University of Leeds and completed the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School, before joining New Quadrant Partners to train in 2010. I am a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
