Virginia Airey – new CEO at New Quadrant
10 January 2024
New Quadrant has appointed Virginia Airey as its new CEO and Board Director.
Virginia has over 30 years’ experience of working in financial services, initially as a Magic Circle banking lawyer, before transferring her skills to hold a number of key senior roles for several global investment banks, which included 17 years with Citi. She has extensive industry knowledge with executive committee and board level experience, both domestic and international.
Her role as CEO at New Quadrant is to drive and shape the business to meet the changing needs of the firm’s established, but also future, clients. In particular, she will oversee the further development of the Family Office services alongside the long-established legal and tax advisory, and trust administration services.
New Quadrant founder Louise Stoten welcomed Virginia to the firm: “New Quadrant is at a very exciting stage of its development. We celebrated our tenth-year anniversary in 2020 and the repositioning of the firm to focus on providing trust, fiduciary and family office services whilst continuing with the firm’s founding aims to have a more innovative and personal approach to servicing the needs of our clients. But it is now 2024 and the start of a new year and we want to evolve even further. This is where Ginny comes in. With her extensive, multi-disciplinary career in financial services and her exceptional executive committee and board level experience, Ginny is the perfect complement to the existing Executive Team and our current vision in terms of meeting the needs of today’s wealthy families.”
Virginia is equally excited about the new role:
“I look forward to bringing my skills and experience to the Executive Team, in particular my track record in transformational change and delivering efficiencies through the implementation of operational and strategic solutions. My commitment to the role is unequivocal, underlined by the fact that I have bought in to the business. I believe this invested stability in the leadership team will ensure both continuity and longevity of our services for the New Quadrant team and its clients.”
