In April 2017, I had an accident and fell head first down a flight of concrete stairs. I suffered multiple closed depressed fractures to the skull, bleeds on the brain and was in a coma for a week. I was flown to the Royal London Hospital by London’s Air Ambulance and was told by my doctor if it wasn’t for London’s Air Ambulance, I probably wouldn’t be here.
ATED was introduced with effect from 1 April 2013, and for the reporting period starting 1 April 2018 a return will need to be filed by all “non-natural” persons (eg companies) owning UK residential property with a market value of £500,000 or more at 1 April 2017.
