“I specialise in estate planning for High Net Worth (HNW) individuals and the management and administration of trusts and estates. The work I undertake includes tax planning advice for both individuals and trustees, preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust Deeds and dealing with routine trust administration including the preparation of annual accounts, completion of Inheritance Tax forms, liaising with trustees and executors, completion of tax returns, dealing with donations and distributions, and completing annual returns.

I also deal with non-contentious Court of Protection matters for both professional and lay deputies. I have dealt with a wide variety of Court of Protection matters involving multi-jurisdictional property and affairs. I am highly conscious that the nature of Court of Protection work is sensitive and I understand the need to balance the wishes of the protected party against decisions that are made in the protected party’s best interests.

I deal with the administration of deputyship matters, working with protected individuals who suffer from incapacity as a result of birth or catastrophic accident injuries. I also prepare annual deputyship reports, personal tax returns and associated applications to the Court of Protection, including statutory Wills, codicil or gift applications, as well as liaising with local authorities, care agencies and medical professionals.

I also have experience of dealing with Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) and non-resident Capital Gains Tax returns.

I studied Law at university and I completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, passing with Distinction”
