Tax Return Preparation and Submission

Where we are appointed as agent or where our trust corporation is appointed as trustee, our dedicated team will assess the requirement for your trust to complete a self-assessment tax return and, if required, prepare and submit this to HM Revenue & Customs.

We can also assist with the preparation of Income Tax returns for individuals. Our personal tax clients include beneficiaries of trusts, individuals claiming the remittance basis of taxation and non-resident individuals with UK source income such as property income.

Some of the other UK tax returns we prepare and submit include:

  • Repayment claims
  • Company and charity Corporation Tax returns
  • Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings returns
  • Stamp Duty Land Tax and Stamp Duty Reserve Tax returns
  • ATED-related Capital Gains Tax returns
  • Non-resident Capital Gains Tax returns
  • Non-resident Company Income Tax Return (SA700)

Accounts Preparation

The preparation of accounts is an important aspect of trust administration as it provides a periodic snapshot of a trust’s value. It also offers the trustees an opportunity to review the performance of the trust and how its value has been affected by past transactions.

Using a wide range of professional qualifications and many years of expertise, our dedicated team can produce concise and understandable annual accounts for any type of trust.

We also prepare financial statements for charities and companies and submit these to the Charity Commission and Companies House, where appropriate.

If you wish to speak to a member of our team and discuss how we can be of further assistance to you, please contact Stephen Grace, Partner & Trust Director, or Darren Austin-Smith, Partner & Trust Director.
