Strategic trustee advice to cross-border family

This matter involves acting for three generations of a prominent international family with significant UK trust interests invested through an open-ended investment company (OEIC), and in UK and foreign property.

We provide the family with all aspects of private client advice, covering extensive succession planning, trust administration and tax advice for the family members, trustees and beneficiaries.

We have coordinated foreign legal and tax advice for family members resident in four European jurisdictions, including Wills and pre-nuptial agreements in accordance with civil law and forced heirship provisions.

Our UK advice has involved establishing a new LLP to hold the large family estate, to ensure it is run as a profitable business. We have also created a new development company to carry out property development on the estate and elsewhere.

When I founded New Quadrant Partners I wanted to create a team with skills that, together, could service the needs of today's wealthy families.
